Engine 233
 
    Primary use : Engine 233 has multiple assignments due to its resources. This is our 3rd truck out for structure fires, first truck out for vehicle accidents, and mutual aide calls.
        Engine 233 is a 2000 Marion with a Spartan Gladiator 10 man cab. It has a 475 hp Detroit diesel, Allison auto-transmission, 1500 Waterous pump, and a 1000 gallon capacity water tank. This unit carries 700 feet of 1¾" pre-connected hose, 250 feet of pre-connected 2½" handline, 400 feet of 2½" hose (bedded),  1500 feet of 5" LDH (hydrant line). This unit carries additional hand tools for vehicle extrication, a "Cutters Edge" vent saw, PPV fan, thermal imaging visual device (camera), and CO gas monitor. To supplement EMS efforts, 233 carries a stocked EMT kit with O2, suction unit, and AED.
