Primary use : Ladder 23 is our 2nd truck out for calls in our immediate district.

          This  unit is a 2003 Smeal 105' ladder.  Ladder 23 has a Spartan cab with a 500-hp Detroit engine, Allison auto-transmission, 2000 Waterous pump and a 400 gallon capacity water tank. Ladder 23 has 350 feet of 1¾" pre-connected hose, 200 feet of 2½" pre-connected hose and 900 feet of 5" LDH hose.  Ladder 23 also carries a full set of rope-rescue equipment, a PPV fan, a "Cutter Edge" vent saw, "Panter" cut off saw.
